The Daily Nugget

Hi All,

As Believers we know that God loves us unconditionally, but sometimes the enemy can try to make us think we are not good enough and yes we all slip up and do things we shouldn't but as Jesus tells us “I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."(Luke 5:32). We must never doubt how much God loves us as he shows in so many ways, He forgives us of our sins when we repent, He hears and answers our prayers as He knows our needs before we ask Him,but the greatest demonstration of how much God loves us was when He sent  His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins, offering forgiveness and eternal life(John 3:16).We must never doubt how much God loves us,all we have to do is open our hearts to receive it.

6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.   7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.   8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.   9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

How wonderful it is to know that God thinks we are special,when He sent His son to the cross it was for everyone past present and future who would believe in The Lord Jesus Amen ! The most remarkable thing is that even if there was only one of us Jesus would still have gone to the cross. We don't deserve any of His love, care and protection as we are sinners, but whether we deserve it or not is not a prerequisite to receiving God's love because God is love(1 John 4:8). We are His children and as such we have a unique place in His plans and He has given us individually all the gifts and talents we need to carry out  His purposes in The Kingdom.

The Bible tells us over and over that God loves us, so if we are feeling down or perhaps unloved, turn to the scriptures and read His word and it will confirm just how much He  loves and cares for each and every one of His children.”We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him”.(1 John 4:16)
