The Daily Nugget
Hi All
When we walk with God we grow in Him everyday and start to see Him more and more in our lives. When we learn to see God in everything it means we can recognise what He does for us in our lives on a daily basis. We begin to see God in every aspect of our lives when we truly seek Him and recognise that His input is in everything from those great “Wow Moments” to the “little things”, we can begin to feel His presence, see His actions and understand His purposes for us. For believers this can lead to a deeper sense of peace and a willingness to praise Him and Thank Him in prayer. Proverbs 8:17 tells us "I love those who love me; And those who diligently seek me will find me”. Let's all strive to see more of Him everyday as we go about our everyday lives.
Be Blessed and Encouraged
Seeking God
13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,' declares the LORD, 'and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,' declares the LORD, 'and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.'
(Jeremiah 29:13-14)
The above passage was specifically given to the exiled Israelites, however the principles apply today for all believers, as it tells of God's desire for us to seek Him wholeheartedly and what He will do for us if we do.When we actively seek God, it means that we look for His hand in our lives and in the lives of those around us and begin to recognize that even in the trials of we can feel God's presence giving us the peace and strength we need to come through the other side. Prayer praise and the reading of scripture can all help us get closer to God and lead to us being more Christlike in our everyday lives,we start to show humility which makes it easier forgive those who may have upset us, we also begin to have a greater degree of compassion for others and a willingness to help and support them in trying times, just as Jesus does for us everyday. We have a wonderful Father whose heart's desire is for us to get close to Him and when we do so He will reciprocate “ Draw near to God and He will draw near to you”(James 4:8)
