The Daily Nugget-The Only Truth
Hi All
Today we live in a world where everyone thinks their opinions, however mistaken,represent for them the truth and there are even preachers proclaiming that there is more than one way to heaven,but as Christians we can't allow ourselves to be drawn into what the world deems to be true.There is only one truth and that is God's truth found in scripture.
The concept of "only one truth" in Christianity primarily centers on Jesus Christ as the exclusive way to God, based on John 14:6. It emphasizes that absolute truth exists and aligns with the Bible, rather than being mere opinion.The world is in bondage to the enemy who is the Father of all lies(John 8:44), but we as children of God can live in freedom because when we know the truth,it sets us free(John 8:32) Hallelujah !

The Only Truth
Which one of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak the truth, why do you not believe Me?

15 "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.16 I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.18 "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

In his Gospel John used the word “truth” more than twenty times.He told us that Jesus is “full of grace and truth” (John 1:14),that truth comes through Him (1:17), and that the truth will make us free (8:32).We also read in John’s gospel the statements Jesus made about truth He said
I tell the truth” (8:45) and “I am…the truth” (14:6). He promised to send us the Spirit of truth to guide us into all truth (16:13). When He prayed for us, He asked His Father to “sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth” (17:17).
We hear phrases today like “your truth is not my truth” stemming from the belief that there is no “absolute truth”,but as believers we know the “absolute truth” and that is the truth of God the word contained within the pages of the Bible Amen !
