The Daily Nugget- Our Rescuer

Hi All

The phrase "our God who rescues" refers to God's role as a deliverer, a protector, and a savior. It highlights God's power to save people from various forms of distress, including physical danger, spiritual death, and the consequences of sin. This concept is found throughout the Bible, with many verses describing God's rescuing actions including

"Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name”.(Psalm 91:14)

"Do not be afraid of them, For I am with you to deliver you," declares the LORD.(Jeremiah 1:8). Next time there is a seemingly impossible situation we have to deal with, let's  stand on the promises of God knowing He will bring us through Amen!

Be Blessed and Encouraged

Our Rescuer

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

(Luke 19:10)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

(John 3:16)

This is what the Lord says -your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow.

(Isaiah 48:17)

The day we became Christians and committed to following Jesus, was the day we were rescued by God, we were saved from eternal condemnation and blessed with the assurance of an eternal life with Him.We may never have thought of our faith in this way,but that is essentially the good news of The Gospel. Yes we will still have times where we call on God to “rescue” us from circumstances in our daily lives, times where we may feel ourselves being pulled away from the plans God has for us.This is something we all experience, from time to time. However what we need to remember is that we have spiritual salvation and redemption through the blood of Jesus. As believers we are Saved ! Redeemed ! Rescued ! Praise God !

However It doesn’t end there, our salvation is just the beginning of the ways God continues to rescue us. There will have been times in all of our lives when we can testify to God “rescuing us” from what seemed like helpless situations, times when we have a “that can only be God” moment and there are also times when God has saved us for things we know  nothing about and may never know about, this is the marvelous truth about our God for those who know and love Him,He ALWAYS has our backs for as long as we live Thank You Lord !

Even to your old age I will be the same, And even to your graying years I will bear you! I have done it, and I will carry you; And I will bear you and I will deliver you.(Isaiah 46:4) Amen !
