The Daily Nugget- Always Trust God
HI All
There is a well known passage of scripture which says”Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight”
(Proverbs 3:5-6).As a Christian to trust God means relying completely on His character, wisdom, and sovereignty rather than on personal understanding. It involves surrendering control, especially during trials, and believing He is working all things for good, even when all around us seems to be chaotic or uncertain. Totally trusting God is not always easy as it means obeying Him even when things don't seem to make sense to us,but if we take our worries to God in prayer and allow Him to work on our behalf “we are given “a peace that transcends all understanding”
(Phillipians 4:7).Trusting God is not just for good times, but a decision to rely on Him in "wilderness experiences," which often strengthen faith and lead to spiritual maturity.
Be Blessed and Encouraged
Always Trust God
"Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the LORD your God spoke concerning you has failed; all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.
(Joshua 23:14, NASB)
Every book of the Bible has a distinctive and unique purpose. Many times you can find a key verse that drives this home. For example, the purpose of the book of Revelation is stated right at the beginning of the book: “To show His servants, things which must shortly take place” (Revelation 1:1).In the book of Joshua, the underlying purpose and theme is stated near the end of the book in Joshua 23:14, “And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed”.
Whatever you’re facing today, God has filled His Word with promises. He made promises to ancient Israel about giving them a homeland, guiding them by His presence, providing their needs, and bringing them into the territory He had promised to Abraham and the patriarchs. Not one promise failed. Nor will God’s promises to you. You can trust Him with everything today.
When we choose to trust God and open our hearts to His plans for us,we are able to walk hand in hand with The Lord enjoying every blessing of His presence with us. As the psalmist said, “Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it”.(Psalm 37:3-5)
