Hi All

In Christianity, God's presence is understood in three ways: omnipresence, meaning God is everywhere at all times; indwelling presence, where the Holy Spirit lives within believers; and manifested presence, when God reveals Himself in a powerful or tangible way, either through events like Pentecost or within a person's heart and senses, bringing joy and strength. The experience of God's presence separates believers and brings strength, joy, and a vital connection to God in their lives and when we have that connection we need not worry or fear because we know God is with us,

Be Blessed and Encouraged

Seek His Presence

38 Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home.   39 She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord's feet, listening to His word.   40 But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me."   41 But the Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things;   42 but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

(Luke 10:38-42)

When Jesus visited Mary and Martha’s home, Martha was busy working and “distracted by all the preparations” (Luke 10:40). Her sister Mary chose to sit and listen to Jesus teach, gaining wisdom and peace that would never be taken away from her (vv. 39–42). When Martha asked Jesus to encourage Mary to help her, He responded, “You are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one” (vv. 41–42).As believersGod desires our attention. But, like Martha, we’re often distracted by tasks and problems. We neglect God’s presence even though He alone can provide the wisdom and hope we need. When we make spending time with Him through prayer and meditating on Scripture a priority, He’ll give us the guidance and strength we need to address the challenges we face.

Just like Martha we too can become distracted and not spend as much time with God as we should because there always seems to be something that “needs” attended to, but we have a choice as to what our priorities are and if we ask God he will give us the wisdom and discernment to know what He really wants for us and also when to say no.Our priority must always be to make time for God and to seek His presence and guidance just like Mary did ! “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you”.   (Matthew 6:33)
