The Daily Nugget
Hi All
To all those who follow The Lord the phrase “Holy God” means that God is pure, separated from sin and His morals are without question, these are fundamental beliefs for all believers. His holiness is a central concept, seen in scripture by angels crying "Holy, holy, holy,"( Revelation 4:8)and it establishes the standard for human morality, calling believers to pursue a life separated from sin in their relationship with Christ. In his vision Isaiah tells us that The Seraphim called out one to another and said "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory."(Isaiah 6:3). As Christians we are called to pursue holiness and reflect God's character. We become holy through our relationship with Jesus Christ, who cleanses us from our sin and enables us to enter God's presence.
Be Blessed and Encouraged
Our Holy God
And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and day and night they do not cease to say, "HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME."
(Revelation 4:8).
God’s holiness means He transcends everything else and is completely righteous and separated from evil and His eternal presence is outwith time.He has always been there and will come in the future, but until He does we can rejoice in the fact that when we get to Heaven we will join with the angels and all the saints who have gone before us and those still to get there and we will be worshipping The Lord for eternity ! In the worship song “Holy Forever” by Chris Tomlin,we are encouraged that we have the victory in Christ so when we worship here on earth we can think about what it will be like singing to The Lord in Heaven. “Holy Forever”reminds us of this future, where we will lift our voices with a thousand generations in unison, praising God. This is an encouraging and inspiring reminder of our ultimate victory with Christ. The holiness of God inspires believers to worship Him and as we sing these songs on earth, we anticipate when we will sing these songs forever to the Lamb in heaven Amen !
