In Christianity, "our heavenly home" refers to the eternal dwelling place with God that Christians believe awaits them after death. It's a place of perfect joy, peace, and fellowship with God and other believers, free from suffering and sin. This belief is rooted in Jesus's promise to prepare a place for his followers in his Father's house. “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also”(John 14:3).In this statement Jesus is telling us that His ascension up into heaven makes it possible for us also to go there. That is the gospel. Had Jesus not gone to the cross then there would be no place for any of us in heaven Amen ! Thank You Lord !

Our True Home

20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;   21 who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.

(Philippians 3:20-21).

Of the many blessings we have as Christians there is one that is sometimes overlooked :-The blessing of our eternal home. Too often as Christians we tend to look horizontally at all the trouble and strife in the world when actually we should focus on looking upwards toward our eternal home that awaits us, one where all our troubles will be over, a place of joy, with no pain, constant rejoicing and everlasting peace.

We are so blessed to have that assurance Thank You Lord ! We don't belong to this world anymore than Jesus did. Our citizenship is in heaven, our eternal home is there and our values are determined from there…just like Him. These aren't  easy days to be a Christian, but no such days have ever existed. The challenge of living a Christian life in today's culture can't be used as an excuse for not walking with God. Stay true to Him no matter what the world says. If sometimes you feel out of place on planet Earth, remember that you are a citizen of heaven.

There are many beautiful things that surround us each day like flowers,trees,rivers etc,all of which are a blessing to us given by God, but nothing can compare to the beauty that awaits us in our heavenly home. Heaven is a place where there will be never-ending joy, everlasting  peace, a place where we will have the perfect existence, where there will be no more sorrow or pain and it is more beautiful than we could begin to imagine. Praise God !
