Biblical angels are spiritual, created beings that serve God as messengers, warriors, and guides,but because we don't often hear them spoken about in Churches today,we can tend to overlook the part they play in our daily lives.Although we may not realise it at the time God's angels are with us protecting us,keeping us safe, for example the “close call” we have in the car,the obstacle on the path that we don't see and “almost”fall over or being “preoccupied” and stepping onto a road only to hear the loud blast of a car's horn, the fact that we don't come to any harm is not a coincidence NO it is us being protected by angels sent from God. “For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.They will bear you up in their hands, That you do not strike your foot against a stone”.(Psalm 91:11-12).Angels were also with Jesus throughout His earthly ministry and just as they protected Him so they will protect us.

Then the devil *left Him; and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him.

1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in dazzling clothing; 5 and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living One among the dead? 6 He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, 7 saying that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again."

Every aspect of our Lord’s life was intersected by angels. His birth was announced by angels; they ministered to Him after His temptation; and He spoke about them in His teachings. In the Garden of Gethsemane, an angel comforted Him in His distress. They rolled away the stone and announced His resurrection, and they were present when He ascended into heaven. The Bible tells us that when He returns, He will be accompanied by angelic hosts. If Jesus needed angels to help and protect Him, then how much more do we need them to help guide and protect us?It will be wonderful to get to heaven and learn of just how much the angels helped us in our earthly journey. We are so blessed to have a heavenly Father who loves us so much that he sends us Angelic protection. Although we may not know it there is divine activity going on all around us everyday.Lets pause for a moment today to thank God for sending us His heavenly protectors Thank You Lord !
