The Daily Nugget
Hi All
El Shaddai is a Hebrew name of God, which is translated to mean "God Almighty," but also carries meanings of the All-Sufficient One or God of the Mountain. In Christianity, an "all-sufficient God" is the belief that God is totally self-sufficient, fully complete, and capable of meeting all the needs of His creation without any external help. He possesses immense power and resources to provide for physical, spiritual, and emotional needs, offering His abundant grace and fully accomplishing His purposes, such as saving and empowering people and delivering them from any situation, “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed”(2 Corinthians 9:8).

Our All Sufficient God
The phrase "God is all we need" reflects a core belief in the Christian faith, asserting that God provides ultimate fulfillment, hope, and strength, as seen in verses like Philippians 4:19 which tells us “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus and
Psalm 9: 10 which says “And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You”.
While God is sufficient for spiritual salvation, He provides us with so much more like support from other believers, and the gifts found in creation that sustain life and provide comfort in trials. Every believer has needs but our most important need of all is the need to have a deep relationship with God because when we have this it opens the door for us to all of God's wonderful provisions. When we have a relationship with God we find in Him joy and all we need for spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
