The Daily Nugget- Wisdom From God

We have all heard of Godly wisdom,which is also often referred to as "wisdom from above" or "divine wisdom," and basically means a way of thinking and acting that aligns with God's character and teachings. It involves discerning truth, applying it in practical situations, and reflecting the character of Christ in our actions. Scripture tells us that if we pray and ask for wisdom it shall be given to us “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him”.(James 1:5), we can also gain wisdom by studying the word,by trusting God in everything, and by being obedient to God's will in our lives. Wisdom is the key to humility and discernment,both of which are key characteristics of all believers.

13 How blessed is the man who finds wisdom And the man who gains understanding.14 For her profit is better than the profit of silver And her gain better than fine gold.
(Proverbs 3:13-14)
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever. (Psalm 111:10)
A core aspect of godly wisdom is seeking God through prayer, study of scripture, and building a close relationship with Him.Godly wisdom is manifested in us through our thoughts and actions as we are able to be more considerate towards others and be more compassionate even in difficult situations,just as scripture tells us (Ephesians 4:32).Godly wisdom also produces good fruits from within us such as random acts of kindness or meeting the needs of those around us without being judgemental(Matthew 7:1-5).
As we gain more wisdom we become less proud displaying instead a spirit of humility(Proverbs 11:2).Wisdom is a gift from God which as scripture tells us He will gladly grant to us “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him”.(James 1:5)
