The Daily Nugget-God Meets Our Needs
Hi All
There are times when we have all prayed to God for something and our prayers seem to go unanswered which initially would seem to contradict scripture which tells us “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus”.(Philippians 4:19).The thing to note is the scripture says God will supply all our “needs” not all our “wants” and sometimes we can want something and really think we need it but God knows it is in our best interest not to have it so it never happens. On the other hand God will sometimes bless us with something we would like even though it is not essential and when this happens we should acknowledge the “blessing” and thank God for it(Psalm 103:2)

God Meets Our Needs
And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:19,)
In Christianity, the belief that God meets all needs is rooted in Philippians 4:19, which promises that God will supply all needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. This provision includes food, shelter, emotional comfort, and spiritual growth, often met according to His timing and will rather than our own desires. If we are worried about a need in our lives, we can tend to forget all the times God has met our needs in the past, but when we think back remembering what God has done for us, it makes it easier to trust Him to meet our current needs.
Whenever we have a need, big or small scripture tells us to turn to God first(Matthew 6:33). In His letter to the Corinthians Paul writes "God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work”.(2 Corinthians 9:8) and in Matthew 6:32 we read “Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things”.
Our heavenly Father is the great provider and through Christ we have all His promises and provision and in times of trial we need to remember that our difficult times are seen by God as an opportunity for His divine intervention Praise God!
