The Daily Nugget

Hi All

In Scripture we are told “but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.(1 Corinthians 15:57),in other words thanks to the sacrifice Jesus made for us by going to the cross we can live a life of victory over sin, temptation and the many challenges that come in the world we live. So how are we able to truly live a victorious life in Christ ? First we need to be always seeking to have a deeper relationship with God and applying His principles and promises to our lives, but we must also share the God given “victories” in our lives when we witness to others as there is nothing quite so powerful as a testimony when witnessing to others Amen !

Be Blessed and Encouraged

We Live in Victory

1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.   2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God;   3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.   4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.   5 They are from the world; therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them.   6 We are from God; he who knows God listens to us; he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

(1 John 4:1-6, NASB)

In his first epistle, the apostle John had a lot of say about the devil. He wrote to his churches, telling them they had overcome the wicked one (2:13). The devil, he said, has “sinned from the beginning” and tempts others to do the same, but Jesus came to “destroy the works of the devil” (3:8).John wrote, “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one” (5:19). The One in us—Jesus Christ—is greater than he who dominates the world.Satan may be a prince, a ruler, and the god of this world, but his power is limited, and his abilities can never match God’s omnipotence. Through Christ, we have overcome the devil, we are of God, and we belong to Him who is greater than Satan by far.Let’s live like overcomers—unafraid, unintimidated, victorious. Be thankful Satan has limitations and our infinite God knows how to protect us from all evil.God would not throw us into the conflict if He did not also give us the resources needed to stand against the enemy

Next we are going through trials as we all do whether they  be “worldly” or “spiritual” lets remember that we already have the victory thanks to Our Lord Jesus!

“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world."

(John 16:33)
