Hi All

In the book of James we are told, “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him”(James 1:5), the wisdom referred to is “Biblical Wisdom",which is based on  a “Reverence for God” and a desire to live in alignment with His will for us. When we have “Biblical Wisdom”we are given the ability to use our knowledge in a Godly way to help and encourage others and ourselves when trials come along. The verse promises that God will give this wisdom generously to those who ask in faith, without finding fault. Wisdom is a great gift to all believers and is freely given to those who ask for it and who are prepared to love God and live in obedience to Him“God stores up "sound wisdom" for the righteous and acts as a shield for those who walk with integrity” (Proverbs 2:7).

Be Blessed And Encouraged

Biblical Wisdom

9 So give Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?"10 It was pleasing in the sight of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing.   11 God said to him, "Because you have asked this thing and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself discernment to understand justice.

(1 Kings 3:9-11)

In the biblical story from 1 Kings(1 Kings 3:5-14), King Solomon asks God for wisdom to govern his people, rather than for riches or long life. God appeared to Solomon in a dream and offered him anything he desired. Solomon asked for a discerning heart to rule justly and distinguish between good and evil, which pleased God.God granted him immense wisdom, and also promised riches, honor, and a long life if he remained obedient to God's laws. The wisdom of Solomon was a divine gift from God and was built around seven pillars which were The Fear of The Lord, Knowledge, Understanding, Prudence, Counsel or Correction, Instruction, and Discretion. Just as He did with Solomon God will grant His wisdom to all believers who sincerely ask Him “For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding”(Proverbs 2:6).
