The Daily Nugget
Hi All
In Christianity," the power of the word" refers to the living word of God and its ability to reveal truth, inspire faith, and provide spiritual guidance. Scripture itself is portrayed as a powerful tool that can discern thoughts and intentions, bring spiritual life and regeneration, and empower believers to live according to God's truth. Hebrews 4:12 tells us “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart”. God’s Word has the power to change our life and the lives of our family members and others around the world. But for change to occur, we must dedicate ourselves to the faithful reading and studying of Scripture. Open God’s Word and allow it to transform your life!

Power of The Word
15 I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways.16 I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.
(Psalm 119:15-16,)
Meditating on the precepts we read in God's word and contemplating the truth we learn in its pages are activities that bring us close to actually memorising scripture. In Hebrews 4:12 the writer made a strong case for memorising scripture. God's word he said is "living and powerful" , always relevant and completely able to transform our hearts and minds. Its truth is piercing ,revealing to us our sin,our unkind thoughts and our judgemental attitudes. When we memorize passages of scripture and they are locked in our hearts and minds, they can be recalled in trying times to strengthen us,help us to love unlovable and enable us to discern God's will in our lives and keep us walking along on the path He has predestined for us.Psalm 119:11 says "Your word I have Hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You." Hiding God's life giving Word in our heart and mind helps us to stay connected to our heavenly Father in whatever circumstances we find ourselves.God's word is living and active and still relevant in the lives of every believer everyday.
