As Christians we can be assured that whatever we are going through everyday we can rely on Jesus as He promised “I will always be with you even to the end of the age”(Matthew 28:20). When we count on Jesus it means totally trusting Him in every aspect of our lives good or bad,having complete trust and belief that He wants what's best for us and to follow His teachings acknowledging His power to transform our lives  and give us hope for our future. When we do so we will be blessed and rewarded, but sometimes following Jesus comes at a cost as it may cost us our relationships with friends or even family but Jesus Himself speaking to the disciples told them "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.(Matthew 16:24).When we follow Jesus He gives us peace,wisdom,love and the promise of eternal life. So let's take up our cross and follow where He leads.

Count On Jesus Our Rock

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

(Psalm 18:2)

One of the names used for Our Lord in the bible is “Our Rock”which symbolises that He is our refuge and strength as we read in several  Old Testament scriptures(e.g., Psalm 18:2, Isaiah 26:4, Deuteronomy 32:4).In the New Testament Jesus is called the “ Chief Cornerstone” and the “Rock of Salvation”(1 Peter 2:4-8).For Christians “Jesus our Rock” means He is a steadfast, unshakeable foundation, source of strength, protection, and salvation, offering stability amidst life's storms.Believers find refuge, purpose, and defense in Him, trusting Him as their eternal stronghold against troubles and spiritual enemies. Jesus is a faithful constant in our chaotic world and unlike physical rocks He is everlasting steadfast and totally reliable Amen.
