The Daily Nugget
Hi All
As believers we know that God gives us everything to meet our needs, but the greatest gift we ever received from Him was when “The Light of The World" entered that which he created, coming full of grace and truth and bringing the blessing of eternal life to all those who would believe, as it tells us in scripture “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth”,(John 1:14). Our greatest gift Jesus offers us salvation and eternal life as He bridged the gap between us and God which was caused by sin. This is something we can't earn but a gift that is freely given through God's love and Grace “But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift”(Eph4:7). Let's take a moment today to thank God for our greatest gift and to reflect on where we would be without it !

Our Greatest Gift
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
(John 3:16)
As Christians we believe that Jesus is our greatest gift because he embodies God's love and offers salvation and eternal life to all who would receive it. This gift is freely given, despite our sinfulness, and provides a way to be reconciled with God. The concept of grace, freely given by God, is a central theme in the Bible. Several verses highlight that grace is a gift, not earned through works or merit. Ephesians 2:8-9 emphasizes that salvation is "the gift of God" and not the result of human effort. Similarly, Romans 3:24 states that believers are "justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." Unlike worldly gifts we may receive that can become outdated or lose their worth, Jesus as God's gift never changes and is always relevant“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”.(Hebrews 13:8). What a wonderful loving Father we have to bless us with such a precious gift. Amen !
