The Daily Nugget

In the scriptures Jesus tells us “You will be hated by all because of My name”,(Matthew 10:22 part 1) and we can see this happening all over the world on a daily basis. This is why it is more important than ever for all believers to “Stand for Jesus”,this means to be a bold witness for our faith, to live according to biblical principles, and to spread the gospel even when it is unpopular. This can include actions like sharing our faith, showing love and kindness to others, and standing firm in our beliefs, which are supported by scriptural concepts like the "armor of God" mentioned in Ephesians. The phrase is also the title of a well-known Christian hymn, "Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus," which encourages believers to be courageous and steadfast in their faith.Scripture tells us “but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved”(Matthew 10:22 part 2).

What a wonderful promise to stand on.

Be Blessed and Encouraged 

Make A Stand For Jesus

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.   11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.   12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.   13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.   14 Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,   15 and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE;   16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.   17 And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.   18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.

To “Stand for Jesus” is not easy in our world today it takes courage, but thankfully as we read in our text today we have been given the tools to withstand the spiritual attacks that come our way these tools or our armour are as follows

The belt of truth:- Fasten the belt of truth around your waist, representing the importance of living in honesty and integrity. 

The breastplate of righteousness:- Wear the breastplate of righteousness to protect your heart with God's approval and justice. 

The shoes of the gospel of peace:- Put on the shoes that are readiness for the gospel of peace, which provides stability and preparedness to share the good news. 

The shield of faith:- Hold up the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 

The helmet of salvation:- Put on the helmet of salvation to protect your mind and secure your hope. 

The sword of the Spirit:- Take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, to be used as a weapon of defense. 

Pray in the Spirit:- Continuously pray in the Spirit at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests, and stay alert. 

Our God will always equip His people  Amen !
