The Daily Nugget

Hi All

Today with all the atrocities happening in Israel where they are up against it on all fronts, it will be good to remind ourselves of how God  has always protected His chosen people. The bible tells us that the Jewish people are God's chosen race set out for a special purpose, this was established in Genesis through the Abrahamic covenant where God tells Abraham  “ Go from your country to the land which I will show you and I will make you a great nation, I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you”(Genesis 12:1-3).As we read through the bible there are many many times where God has fulfilled that promise, even when His people have strayed from Him, one example being the Exodus where God parted the Red sea to deliver them from slavery at the hands of the Egyptians(Exodus 14) and another being Daniel and his friends being saved from being devoured by lions( Daniel 6).Today we will read a great testimony of how even in modern times God protects His chosen people.

Be Blessed and Encouraged

God Protects His People

1 Now the LORD said to Abram, "Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father's house, To the land which I will show you;   2 And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing;   3 And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed."(Genesis 12:1-3).

Today as we all know Israel is under constant attack and anti semitism is growing throughout the world due to the narrative being pushed through by mainstream media, but this true story confirms that God will protect them and they will have the victory Amen !

During one of the many Arab Israeli conflicts, (1948) there was a platoon of Israeli soldiers who ended up in the middle of a minefield. One wrong move could cost the lives of many soldiers. What made matters worse was that daybreak was fast approaching. Once the sun came up they would be exposed and become sitting ducks to the Arab armies.

Together these soldiers prayed for God to intervene. As they were doing so a wind began to blow . The intensity of the wind became so strong that the troops had to duck down and cover their eyes and ears to avoid the swirling sand and dirt. Then suddenly as quickly as it began  the wind stopped.Rising up from the ground, the platoon looked around to discover all of the landmines had been exposed. The soldiers were then able to walk to safety. It was not the Israeli army that brought the victory, it was God. Not only did Israel not lose in 1948 but they came out of the battle with 30 percent more land than they entered the conflict with.

With the ongoing conflict today lets continue to pray for God’s chosen people because what God has done before He will do again Amen !

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem(Psalm 122:6)
