The Daily Nugget
Hi All
Today we live in the era of unlimited information and it can become so easy to take the Bible for granted,we can forget how rich it is with spiritual insight and understanding. In Scripture, we’ve been given both the revelation of who God is and a practical guide for how to live today and prepare for eternity. As Hebrews 4:12 tells us “the word of God is living and active” and the remarkable thing is that both young and old can learn from it and be “spiritually nourished”. Anything we need in life can be found within the pages of the bible, it's where we get to really know God and this is why it is the only book we will ever need after all The Bible was the only book Jesus ever quoted, so why would we need anything else? Scripture tells us to “Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God”(Colossians 3:16)The Bible IS our roadmap for life !
Be Blessed and Encouraged
The Bible
The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.
(Isaiah 40:8)
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
(2 Timothy 3:16)
The Bible is The Living Word of God and every word leaves its mark on us in its own way. The Psalms not only remind us to give thanks and worship but also teach us how to repent of sin and share our pain with God. The epistles show us ways to hope in the midst of trials. The gospels introduce us to Jesus Christ and His love for us. The Bible teaches us, encourages us and transforms. It is only when we we take the time to engage with Scripture, that we can have real encounters with
God and we are transformed by the experience of His presence.The Bible never grows old or out of date, it is Ageless and relevant to every passing generation,it has withstood the test of time and will still be “The Book of all Books” when all writings of men are long forgotten about. When we read the bible we are taken on our own personal journey of learning about God, The Bible is a source of knowledge, truth, and hope for us all, regardless of background or status.
