Hi All

As Christians we are all the recipients of God's wonderful Grace a grace which inspires hope even in the face of tragedy, it lifts us when all seems lost and it can soften even the hardest heart !The word grace occurs more than 150 times in the Bible, and most of them come from the pen of the apostle Paul. He’s the apostle of grace, and grace is the keynote of his teachings. In Ephesians 2:7, he talked about “the exceeding riches of His grace.” In 1 Timothy 1:14, he said, “The grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant.” In Romans 5:20, he said, “Grace abounded.”As we read about grace in our text today, let's take a moment to pause and thank God for being gracious to us even though we don’t deserve it.

Be Blessed and Encouraged

The Gift Of Grace

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

(Ephesians 1:7)

4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,   5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),   6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,   7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.   8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;   9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.   (Ephesians 2:4-9).

A wonderful description of grace comes from a hymn by Sovereign Grace Music called “Grace greater than all our sins”, where it is described as “marvelous, infinite, matchless grace.God’s Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works  but by “Grace Alone” through “Faith Alone”.Grace alone means that God loves, forgives, and saves us not because of who we are or what we do, but because of the work of Christ. Our best efforts can never be good enough to earn salvation, but God declares us righteous for Christ’s sake,we receive that grace through faith alone.

God even gives us the faith that trusts him. We are not saved by obeying a list of do’s and don’ts, but by grace through faith in Christ. Our salvation is in God’s hands. That’s Good News ! That's The Gospel ! We cannot earn our way into heaven; it comes purely by God's grace when we believe in Jesus.
