The Daily Nugget- Our Perfect Saviour
Hi All
In 2 Corinthians 5:21 the apostle Paul tells us “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him”, in other words Christ took all of our sins for us He was the ultimate sacrifice and this is why in our Christian theology Jesus is considered morally and spiritually perfect, living a sinless life while remaining fully human. This perfection is seen as the ultimate standard of righteousness. Rather than just an impossible goal, His perfection is believed to be the source of salvation and grace for believers. That is why rather than expecting believers to reach flawless perfection on our own, Jesus became our trailblazer who made a way and He gives us His “amazing grace” to overcome our flaws and imperfections Thank You Lord !
Be Blessed And Encouraged
Our Perfect Saviour
8 Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered. 9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation. (Hebrews 5:8-9)
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. (Hebrews 4:15)
Christian theology tells us that Jesus came to earth primarily to save humanity from sin. By living a perfect life and offering himself as a sacrifice on the cross, he paid the penalty for human wrongdoing, allowing people to be forgiven and restored to a relationship with God.
Jesus came to earth primarily with a mission which was to seek out the lost and call sinners to repentance( Luke 5:32) and by coming as Emmanuel(God with us),He provided a human example of God's character and love.Jesus did not come to “be,served but to serve others giving himself as a ransom for many”(Matthew 20:28)and by doing so taught us the meaning of true humility. When He came,He gave us the opportunity to experience the fullness of life(John 10:10) and through His love for us He gives eternal life to all who believe(John 3:16).
What a wonderful “Perfect Saviour” we have !
