The Daily Nugget- Our God Lives

Hi All

In Jeremiah 10:10 we are told “But the Lord is the true God,He is the living God, the eternal King”, how wonderful it is that we have a God personal to us all and active in our lives. Our God is the source of life He created heaven and earth and is actively working in the lives of all believers everyday this is why we can join the psalmist and declare “The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Saviour! (Psalm 18:46).

Our God Lives

Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

(1 Corinthians 3:16)

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 

(1 Corinthians 6:19)

In Christianity,God is believed to live within believers through the Holy Spirit, making the bodies of Christians "temples" of God. This indwelling presence means God is not distant, but intimately involved in our daily lives to comfort and guide us. When we have the helper(Holy Spirit) living within us things begin to happen ! Our hearts and minds become transformed as we place our faith in Him and we are given access to divine help for all of life's trials and temptations(1Corinthians 10:13).Our God is living and active He is our refuge and strength, A very present help in times of  trouble(Psalm 46:1).  

We all get days when we seem to have everything coming against us, that is when we need to remember that our God is living and active,a God who will NEVER leave us or forsake us(Hebrews 13:5) and a God who NEVER changes(Hebrews 13:8). Amen !
