The Daily Nugget- Keep Believing
Hi All
Luke 1:37 tells us "For with God nothing will be impossible” this is a verse often used to confirm that God has the power and ability to make anything happen. It was spoken by the angel Gabriel to Mary when she was told she would bear the Son of God, despite her not being married. No matter what we ask for God can provide it, but that doesn’t mean to say He will and that's when we can be tested, but when things don't happen that is when we trust and believe because HE IS ABLE.
This is something we can all testify to if we look back on our lives and remember all The Lord has done for us in the past and He will continue to do in the future. We can all tend to become so focused on what God has not done, but when we think of all God has done we then realise how blessed we really are! If we focus on God and the desires of our heart line up with what God desires for us, they will be granted to us
“Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart”.(Psalm 37:4). As we read in our text today our God truly is the God of the impossible, Amen !!
Be Blessed and Encouraged

1 Now when Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am God Almighty; Walk before Me, and be blameless. 2 "I will establish My covenant between Me and you, And I will multiply you exceedingly." 3 Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying, 4 "As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, And you will be the father of a multitude of nations. 5 "No longer shall your name be called Abram, But your name shall be Abraham; For I have made you the father of a multitude of nations. 6 I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings will come forth from you. 7 I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you. 8 I will give to you and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God."
(Genesis 17:1-8)
When God wants to do something big,He very often starts with something small. One biblical example of this is Abram and Sarai when He took an elderly childless couple and made them fruitful beyond comprehension. What seems impossible from a human perspective is always possible with God.
It had been 24 years since God first promised Abraham that he would become the father of a great nation (see Genesis 12:1-4). Several times through those years God reaffirmed his promise and even ceremonially sealed it. Still, Abraham and Sarai were without children. In Genesis 17 God affirmed this promise again by revealing his special name El Shaddai, meaning “God Almighty.” Then he changed Abram’s name to Abraham, meaning “father of many,” and spelled out further details of his plan. God also changed Sarai’s name to Sarah, meaning “princess” (Genesis 17:15). Even though the promise had yet to be fulfilled, God offered reassurance to them.
Similarly, at times when nothing seems to be happening in our lives we can start to doubt God's promises, that is when God steps in to reassure us. This reassurance may come through Bible verses, songs, encouraging notes, and prayers to reassure us that He is still at work, even if our circumstances hadn’t yet changed. Whatever we are trusting God for, we can draw strength from the encouragement He gives along the way.
As Jesus tells us,. "With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26)
