The Daily Nugget- God Restores

Hi All

We all go through difficult times in life and our trials can lead us to breaking point. The good news is that we have a God who specialises in restoration, whether it be healing broken relationships, mending broken hearts or lifting us when we hit rock bottom our God is “The Master Restorer”.Through His grace, hope replaces despair and fear is dismissed through faith and trust in Him. God renews the soul, restores peace of mind, heals wounds, and brings joy back to life,Even when we may think things are beyond repair as 1 Peter 5:10 tells us “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you." Scripture also tells us that “although there may be pain in the night joy will come in the morning”(Psalm 30:5).Thank You Lord you are our Joybringer you are our “Master Restorer”

Be Blessed and Encouraged

God Restores

3 He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "O Lord GOD, You know."   4 Again He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.'   5 Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, 'Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life.   6 I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the LORD.'"   7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.

(Ezekiel 37:3-7)

When the Babylonians conquered Israel, the people felt hopeless, surrounded by death and destruction and in need of restoration (Lamentations 1).During this period of turmoil, God took the prophet Ezekiel to a valley and gave him a vision where he was surrounded by dry bones. He asked Ezekiel “can these dry bones live” to which Ezekiel

replied “ Lord only you know”(Ezekiel 37:3).Ezekiel then goes on to say“As I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together” (37:7).We learn through this vision that restoration can only come through God.

No matter what we have “broken” in our lives that to us seem unrepairable,we have the assurance of knowing that our God is waiting to restore us.God promises to restore, strengthen, and re-establish all believers, when we seek Him with all of our hearts, just as He promises in Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart”.Thank You Lord !
