The central theme of Christianity is that God loves humanity, but our wrong choices (sin) separate us from Him. Because God is loving and just, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live a perfect life, die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins, and rise from the dead, offering forgiveness and eternal life to all who turn to Him in faith. The most famous verse in all of scripture tells us “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life(John 3:16). This in a nutshell is the “Gospel” or the “Good News”. The world today is hungry for good news. And there is no better news than “God so loved the world.” This is a message all Christians are called to share at any time. We all had to hear the gospel from someone, so as believers we need to be that someone for another person.

Go Make Disciples
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded.
(Matthew 28:19-20)
The above passage is known as the “Great Commission" given by Jesus to His disciples,calling them to go out into the world and share the good news of God's love, by following His teachings and the example He set.
Every subsequent generation of the Church has inherited that “Great Commission” until Jesus returns. The Gospel is not to be a secret to be kept among believers NO it is a story to be proclaimed to all the world.
The apostle Paul had been imprisoned in Philippi(Acts 16:23-24) chased from Thessalonica(Acts 17:10),smuggled out of Berea(Acts 17:14), berated in Athens(Acts 17:32), regarded a fool when he went to Corinth(1 Corinthians 1:18 and 23) and he was stoned in Galatia(Acts 4:19). Despite this Paul remained determined to take the Gospel to Rome because it was a hub of pagan religion and in Romans 1:16 he states “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek”.Paul knew the importance of sharing the “Good News” of The Gospel” and the impact it would have.
As believers the challenge for us all is to have the same commitment and desire to share the “Gospel” that Paul had, because it has the same impact today as it had in Biblical times
