The Daily Nugget- Chosen By God
Hi All
Our reading today reminds us that God chose us, our salvation is not through our own works but because God through His love and graciousness chose us to become part of His family(Ephesians2:8-9). At times we can all think we are not good enough or don't deserve anything and it’s true none of us are good enough or deserving of anything,but the good news for all believers is that in God's eyes we are His children and that makes us worthy. In Isaiah 43:4 God says “You are precious in my eyes and I love you” Praise God !

Chosen By God
Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love
(Ephesians 1:4)
13 But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth. 14 It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(2 Thessalonians 2:13-14)
When we make choices in life, whether large or small, we have our reasons. And we are not always obliged to share those reasons with others. The same is true with God. He makes choices for reasons often known only to Himself.
(Deuteronomy 29:29).
Israel began with God’s choice of one man”Abram of Ur” for reasons unknown to us. And because of His love for Abraham, He chose his descendants (Deuteronomy 4:37). But God made it clear that His choice of them was based on His love alone (Deuteronomy 7:7), which resulted in blessedness for the chosen (Psalm 65:4). The apostle Paul continues this theme in Ephesians 1:3-4 where he tells Christians they have been chosen “in love” before the world was created.The focus with our choosing, as it was with Israel, is the kind of people we are to be,how to reflect God’s loving choice in the world.
If you are in Christ today, it is because you were chosen by Him. Give humble praise to God for His choice. God never chose us for being good NO He chose us so we may become good(Ephesians 2:10) Thank You Lord !
