The Daily Nugget- Choose To Trust

As Believers, choosing to trust Jesus means placing our faith in His love, promises, and teachings rather than relying solely on our own understanding(Proverbs 3:5-6). It is a daily decision to surrender control, release anxiety, and find peace by leaning on His guidance. When we choose to trust God and open our hearts to His plans for us,we are able to walk hand in hand with The Lord enjoying every blessing of His presence with us. As the psalmist said, “Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it”(Psalm 37:3-5).

Choose To Trust
1 In You, O LORD, I have taken refuge; Let me never be ashamed; In Your righteousness deliver me. 2 Incline Your ear to me, rescue me quickly; Be to me a rock of strength, A stronghold to save me. 3 For You are my rock and my fortress; For Your name's sake You will lead me and guide me.(Psalm 31:1-3)
"Trust in the LORD forever, For in GOD the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.(Isaiah 26:4)
The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.(Psalm 28:7)
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.(Proverbs 3:5-6)
When we come to know Jesus as our Saviour and Lord, it means that we place our trust in Him.We surrender our lives to Him,to do His work, in His way, at His time and for His glory.We trust Him to protect us and guide us.
However our trust in The Lord does not begin and end when we come to salvation,we need to choose to place our trust in Him again and again. We choose to trust Him from the moment we awake until we lay our heads to sleep,trusting Him to bless what we do wherever we are. We choose to trust Him to protect and guard our loved ones each day,we choose to trust our lives to Him again and again, because He is our Refuge,our Rock and our Fortress.
What a blessing and reassurance for all believers knowing we can go to Jesus at any time,whatever the circumstances and He will listen.We can trust The Lord for anything and everything.We can trust Him with all of our hearts and souls...because we can stand on the rock solid truth that he loves us with an everlasting love. When we trust in The Lord He will never let us down.
