The Daily Nugget- Blessed Everyday

 Hi All

According to the Bible Dictionary, miracles are “manifestations of divine or spiritual power.” In the bible we can read of the many miracles of Jesus, for example “turning water  to wine”(John 2:1-11) or “Giving Sight to a Blind man at Jericho”(Mark 10:46-52), which are incredible. In Christian theology, Jesus' miracles are generally considered a confirmation of his divinity and they are seen as evidence that he is the Son of God, possessing divine power and authority. In our lives today we can still see “miracles” and “blessings” all around us, but because they are not as “spectacular” as those of Jesus we can tend to overlook them, but they are nonetheless just as special as they meet our every need just as scripture promises And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:19)

Be Blessed and Encouraged

Blessed Everyday

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.(Numbers 6:24-26)

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.   (James 1:17)

Small miracles, often subtle and unnoticed, can be as significant as grand acts of divine intervention. They include the everyday blessings like a timely arrival, a healing from a cold, or a simple act of kindness that makes a difference. These moments can be seen as reminders of  God's presence and care in the mundane aspects of life, sometimes we can tend to forget the “small” everyday miracles and blessings. The sun rising, the simple act of breathing, and the way our bodies work together are all considered miraculous, we also have the wonders of nature like a seed growing into a tree, the beauty of a sunset, and the way the seasons change all of which are examples of God hand at work.

God is a God of the everyday and is all around all we have to do is look for Him. Let's look for God in every situation daily. Whether it is big or small, look for him. If you are just walking down the street, look for the beautiful things he has made. When you are with your friends or family, thank him for putting those people in your life. We have so much to be thankful for as the old hymn says ”count your blessings name them one by one and it will surprise you what the Lord has done” Amen
