The Daily Nugget
Hi All
In Christianity, "God the Waymaker" refers to the belief that God creates paths, solutions, and new opportunities where none seem to exist, often referencing biblical passages like Isaiah 43:19 which says"Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert” The well known contemporary worship song explains in the lyrics that no matter what God is working to make a way for us even though we may not always see it . This concept highlights our Almighty God's power to overcome obstacles, provide for needs, and guide believers through difficult circumstances to achieve His will.
Be Blessed and Encouraged
The Waymaker.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.
(Ephesians 3:20)
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
(2 Corinthians 9:8)
There are many great examples in the scriptures of how God made a way when all seemed lost. For example Daniel and The Lions Den(Daniel 6:10-23) and when Abraham thought all was lost and he would have to sacrifice his son but God intervened(Gen 22:9-14) to name but two. One of the greatest examples of God making a way however was during the Exodus from Egypt to the Promised Land and then again when they were in the wilderness where as we read God intervened three times for the Israelites:-
The Exodus and the Red Sea (Exodus 14)After God allowed the Israelites to leave Egypt, the Pharaoh changed his mind and pursued them to the Red Sea. With the sea in front and the pursuing army behind, God instructed Moses to raise his staff, and a powerful wind parted the waters, creating a dry path for the Israelites to escape. When the Egyptians followed, the waters crashed down, drowning them. Crossing the Jordan River(Joshua 3-5).As the Israelites approached the Promised Land, they faced the Jordan River, which was flooded and overflowing its banks. God stopped the waters, creating a dry path for the people to cross over to the land He had promised them. In the wilderness, the Israelites found themselves in seemingly impossible situations, but God provided for them by sending a cloud to guide and protect them, and by providing food and water(Exodus 16). No matter what situation we are in, always remember,God is able to make a way through.
