Hi All

We all  love to hear words of appreciation especially if we have ever felt taken for granted. When we know the importance of being appreciated this should then encourage us to appreciate those around us. To illustrate the importance of gratitude Jesus used a parable about ten lepers. All ten were healed but only one returned to say thank you. The one who came back to Jesus to express his gratitude is the one Jesus commended(Luke 17: 10-21). In Christianity, being grateful to God involves believers acknowledging His presence and goodness in all circumstances, not just good times. This is done through prayer, praise, and a lifestyle of thankfulness that reflects a deep trust in Him. As scripture says "Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation."(Isaiah 12:2) Thank You Lord !

Be Blessed and Encouraged

Never Forget to Thank God

But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

(2Thessalonians 2:13)

As Christians God gives us so much, but His greatest gift to us is our salvation bought by the blood of Jesus and this is why we should live our lives being thankful to God for everything big or small. We all have our own powerful testimonies to glorify God,of how we became believers and when God chose us.The following testimony is a great example  of our great God and how He can call anyone at any time.

James Chasteen was a Christian living in New York who distributed Gideon Bibles. One day  in a nursing home in New York City, he spotted an old man in a wheelchair. The two struck up a conversation, and Chasteen asked the man if he was certain of heaven. “I would like to think that I would go to heaven,” the man replied with tears, “but I don’t think I would. I don’t know how, and no one has ever told me how.” That day James had the joy of leading this man to Christ, and afterward, he asked him how old he was. The astonishing answer: 100! He would be 101 in another month.Praise God for a man who found Christ at age 100! Thank goodness most of us don’t wait that long. What a joy to know Christ as our Saviour today, to be walking with Him, and to be looking forward to life in His Celestial City. We are bound to give thanks to Him who, from the beginning, chose us for salvation.

Let's never forget the sacrifice Jesus made for us and give thanks to God because God’s giving deserves our thanksgiving.
